When I bought the fair condition I was expecting it to be cracked and the battery would be no so great. When I received my phone, the battery was great, the phone looked brand new and I didn’t see any cracks. I felt like u had just gotten a brand new phone for cheap! I would recommend the fair condition because it is just as great as the rest of them I’m assuming. Thank you Zaltova!

I clicked on fair condition because it was a little bit more in my price range, but it was practically new , it had may be a faint scratch on the side. It works great and I hope it lasts a while. Will definitely be buying another if needed from here. ☺️👍🏼 delivery took a little longer than expected but overall very satisfied with my purchase ☺️

I picked fair condition since it was the cheapest option for my child. It literally looks like new! We love it! Only a slight smudge (not scratch) on the screen that is barely noticeable. It works good so far! Let’s hope it lasts with no issues! Thank you!

iPhone XR questions, answered

The iPhone XR supports iOS 18, but it does not support iOS 26, Apple's current major release. The XR has reached the end of its major software update cycle. Apple will continue issuing security updates within iOS 18 for some time, but new OS features will no longer arrive on this device. If you plan to use this phone for one to two years, that's workable; if you want five-plus years of OS updates, a newer model would be a better fit.
The iPhone XR uses a 6.1" Liquid Retina LCD at 326 ppi. Colors are accurate and brightness is solid for outdoor use. It doesn't have the deep blacks or power efficiency of an OLED screen, but for social media, video streaming, and daily use, the difference is rarely noticeable in practice. The display was widely praised at launch and still performs comfortably for everyday tasks.
Apple rates the iPhone XR at up to 16 hours of video playback, and battery health is a fair concern on a phone of this age. Every refurbished iPhone on Zaltova undergoes a battery health check as part of the 100-point professional inspection, and the condition grade (Fair, Good, or Excellent) reflects the phone's overall state. The 12-month commercial warranty covers functionality after you buy, so you have a clear safety net.
The iPhone XR is a strong fit for a first or younger-user iPhone. Face ID is reliable and quick, the 6.1" display is large without being unwieldy, and the A12 Bionic chip handles apps and games without lag. Apple's Screen Time and parental controls work fully within iOS 18.
The iPhone XR comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The 128GB option covers most users well: apps, photos, music, and some offline video without needing to constantly manage space. Choose 64GB only if you rely heavily on cloud storage. Go for 256GB if you shoot a lot of video and prefer keeping it on-device. The XR has no expandable storage slot, so it's worth thinking through your habits before choosing.
Every refurbished iPhone XR sold on Zaltova goes through a 100-point professional inspection by a verified refurbisher: screen, battery, Face ID, cameras, buttons, and ports are all tested individually. The IMEI is verified, all previous data is fully wiped, and the device ships unlocked for all US carriers. You're covered by a 12-month commercial warranty and 30 days to change your mind. It's the gap between "used" and actually tested.

The iPhone XR remains a practical choice for users who want a reliable Apple smartphone without the latest generation features. Released in 2018, it offers a balance of performance and usability with a colorful Liquid Retina display and solid camera capabilities.

Key features:

Release Date: October 2018
Display: 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD
Processor: A12 Bionic chip
Camera: 12MP single rear camera with Portrait mode and Smart HDR
Operating System: Ships with iOS 12 (upgradable to later versions)

Who is this for?

The iPhone XR is suited for users who want a straightforward, capable smartphone with a large display and good performance for everyday tasks. It works well for students, casual users, or those new to the Apple ecosystem. Compared to newer models like the iPhone 11 or 12, it lacks multiple cameras and 5G support but still handles apps and media smoothly.

Pros & Cons: Pros Cons Large and vibrant Liquid Retina display. Single rear camera limits advanced photography options. A12 Bionic chip offers smooth everyday performance. No 5G connectivity. Face ID for secure authentication. LCD display lacks the contrast of OLED panels.
Why refurbished?
